Items to be Funded / FAQ / Contact

Thank you! Giving Tuesday 2016 was a great success!

Thanks to our generous community, we exceeded our goal. Funds raised will provide people with spinal cord injuries in our community the equipment needed to live independently and enjoy a good quality of life.

Raised: $ 18716     Goal: $ 10000

Did you know that when someone in Ontario needs a wheelchair, hospital bed or other equipment, it's not fully funded? In fact, unless someone has additional insurance, they can expect to pay at least 25% of the cost and in some cases, the full amount. When an item costs thousands of dollars, even 25% can be too much.

When people apply to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario's Enhancing Independence Program to get funding support, all other options have been exhausted. There is nowhere else to turn. You can help.

Matching Gift

Thanks to PIA Law (Personal Injury Alliance), donations made on November 29 to support the Giving Tuesday campaign will be matched up to a total of $5,000. Your donation will have double the impact!
